March means St. Patrick’s Day season and another excuse to get all creative and crafty. The rustic look is hot right now and so easy to do. So grab your burlap and woods, paints and glue and check out some of these rustic St. Patrick’s Day crafts!
Rustic St. Patrick’s Day Signs
Simple St. Patrick’s Day Rustic Decor Sign – Do you have a Cricut machine? Diva of DIY has two really easy signs that you can easily make, using your Cricut to make a shamrock and the word LUCKY. One design uses paint and the other brings home the gold by making a shamrock out of gold thumbtacks.
Lucky St. Patrick’s Day Board – Use your machine to cut out stencils of the letters L, C, K, Y or find some other stencils to paint the word onto your board. Instead of a stenciled letter U, use a horseshoe! Nothing But Country came up with this unique design.
St. Patrick’s Day Luck Marquee Sign – You can really light up your life with this sign from Thrifty’s Treasures. Use stencils and paint on stained wood and then bust out the power tools. You make holes and then put a string of lights in them.
St. Patrick’s Plaque – Craft Yourself recycled some of her own craft ideas by using a piece of particle board painted with green paint and then a Silhouette machine to cut out a quote from her St. Patrick’s day printables found on her blog.
Mossy Door Decor – It’s Always Ruetten grabbed letters at Michael’s to spell the word luck and then covered them with green craft paint and a sheet of moss to make an adorable sign to hang on your front door.
Rustic St. Patrick’s Day Wreaths
Split Pea Wreath – This season is all about green. Love of Family and Home uses Mod Podge to glue split peas on a styrofoam wreath. Spray it with clear acrylic spray to finish. Even your kids can help do this one!
Shamrocks and Burlap Wreath – Atop Serenity Hill has this easy wreath she makes out of a grapevine wreath. Paint shamrocks on canvas paper and use burlap ties to decorate it.
St. Patty’s Rag Wreath – Need a stashbuster project? The Magic of Ordinary Things made a wreath out of an old wire coat hanger and strips of leftover green fabric in all kinds of green colored designs.
Burlap Wreaths Take 1 – Me and My Scraps got together with a friend to make a wreath out of cut out circles of burlap and green fabric plus colored buttons to create a series of colorful wreaths.

Lucky Clover – Sweet Something Design uses scrap craft pieces to create these adorable clover ornaments.
Framed Moss Shamrock on Glass – Can you get your hands on a vintage frame with glass? Use the free printable image from Stow and Tell U as a template for cutting out a piece of craft moss to glue onto the glass.
Lucky Rustic Wall Hanging – Gather up your paint sticks, some twine, wooden letters to spell LUCKY and a hot glue gun to make this gorgeous wall hanging by Food Fun Family.
St. Patrick’s Day Banner – Ribbons and Glue uses patterned paper and stickers from an Echo Park kit on burlap to make this simple rustic banner.
Thrifty Hurricane – Split peas can be used again in this craft from Two Twenty One. They decorate the base of the hurricanes to make a centerpiece that works for St. Patrick’s Day.
