7 Essential Oils Perfect for Your Office Space
If you use essential oils in your home, you know they offer so many benefits. And while using essential oils in the home may seem like a no brainer, have you considered taking them to the office as well? Essential oils are quite perfect for office use, and can help you feel more relaxed, more revitalized, or even more focused. Take a look below at 7 essential oils perfect for your office space so you can be sure to reap the benefits these oils have to offer.
My two favorite sites for essential oils are Organic Aromas and doTerra. Make sure you do your research on what oils you are buying because they are not all the same. Anything that is not pure will not have any health benefits whatsoever.
Peppermint oil.
Do you feel the midday slump? If you need a little mid day pick me up, peppermint oil is perfect. It can help you feel more revitalized and awake in just seconds. Try inhaling a few drops from your palms, diffuse it, or place a few dabs on pulse points for a quick pick me up. (I use strictly doterra peppermint oils, they work the best)
Orange blossom oil.
Orange blossom oil doesn’t just smell amazing, but it offers amazing benefits too! You can use orange blossom oil to give your immune system a boost when the office is full of sniffles and sneezes. Add it to your ice water or tea, inhale a few drops, or try diffusing it.
Lavender oil.
Does a client or co worker have you stressed? Lavender oil can help. Place a few drops on pulse points to help calm and relax you. It is also great to diffuse to promote relaxation, or even keep a bottle in your desk to dab on pulse points when a tension headache hits.
Grapefruit oil.
Like other citrus oils, grapefruit oil can help boost your immune system and even keep office air clean. Diffuse it for maximum benefits, add it to your daily water, or just inhale a dab or two when you are feeling run down and overwhelmed.
Eucalyptus oil.
The woodsy scent of eucalyptus oil can help you feel more focused and creative. You can also add it to you hand lotion should you experience any skin irritations during the work day. Feeling stressed? Eucalyptus oil massaged into the skin can help.
Lemon oil.
Use lemon oil in the office to polish your desk and other furniture pieces. You can also use it to keep your immune system strong! Then just add to your water and tea. Want to keep the office clean during cold and flu season? Add a few drops of lemon oil to you cleaning products.
Rosemary oil.
Rosemary oil is an oil capable of relaxing you and helping you unwind without putting you to sleep. It is great for relieving stress but will still leave you functional. Add a few drops behind the neck when you need a mid day break.
Are you ready to put the power of essential oils to work for you? Then give these 7 essential oils for the office a try and see how helpful they can be to your work day!
