Being on my third kid I am well schooled in the art of bathroom aerobics. What are bathroom aerobics you ask? Let me give you an example. Me, my four year old, my purse, both of our winter jackets & a public bathroom sink. Ever try to lift a 4 year old up to wash their hands in that situation? Then you too know bathroom aerobics. 😉
Enter Aqueduck. Aquaduck is a standard bathroom faucet extender. Genius right? It’s a total “why didn’t I think of that ?” product. Aqueduck comes in blue & pink. I received a blue one. (My daughter would’ve preferred pink, but I think after this review I am going to get her a pink one and give the blue one to my nephew.) I love the packaging, it was soo cute. I was also really was pleased with the clear instructions that were on the back. The instructions are cartoon like and my 4 yr old understood them and helped me put it on the faucet and “read” me the instructions. My 4 yr old was less impressed with the packaging though & more impressed with the tattoo of a Aqueduck that came IN the packaging.
It was a little stiff at first and a little awkward to put on. I don’t recommend you use it as a travel extender until you have broken it in. Since then I have taken it off quite a few times and it got easier to put on and off each time.
Once we got it on the faucet my 4 year old was in love.
Normally, even though she is tall for her age, she has to drag her stool over to the sink and I don’t like it because she always splashes and gets water all over the place. Since we have been trying out the Aqueduck for a week I haven’t had to clean up any messes related to hand washing. 😉
My only dislike of the product is how hard it was to get on at first, but I understand that it has to be that way so that the product can keep it’s shape over time. I also wish it came with a carrying case, but I noticed on their website that they will be carrying tote bags & travel bags soon.
