I made the Cashew Chicken because that recipe is a favorite of my family’s when we grab takeout and I was really pleased with the way the recipe came out. I love Asian flavors and we don’t really have great takeout restaurants in my area so I have a feeling this book is going to go into my recipe rotation. The idea of using my slow cooker for asian style recipes never entered my mind but it’s so simple and some of the recipes can even be made in one skillet and some even have just 5 ingredients. All of Kelly’s recipes call for fresh ingredients which is perfect, I try to incorporate fresh into our diet as much as I can. Everyone of these recipes can be weaved into our busy schedules and I love that not all of the recipes are slowcooker recipes. If you are a cookbook collector like me this book is totally worth the money. I have paid more for less superior recipes. I am definitely going to be subscribing to her blog now so I can see what else she comes up with!
