As an adult you don’t usually get a feeling of utter happiness like you do as a child opening a present that you have wanted FOREVER. A few months ago my husband and I did. The present we received has made us happy on a daily basis. It’s grown up, sophisticated and gorgeous. It has improved our health, our budget and improved our household immensely. Change the way you cook for the holidays.
Before we owned this range I never understood the draw to dual ranges or even fancy things like a wifi compatible stove. I have always been the type of person to buck change and pick simplistic things as a rule. I am slowly being converted and moving away from Luddite tendencies.
Our Samsung Flex Duo Range has saved us so much money because we don’t eat out as much, can cook things simultaneously which saves so much time and we actually enjoy cooking again. It doesn’t seem like a chore that we just have to get out of the way. Our meals and ingredients cook evenly, quickly and the flavor of our food has improved. I am actually giddy at the thought of cooking Thanksgiving dinner in this range. Anyone that knows me can attest to how outrageous that is, I am a baker not a chef.
I will be able to actually cook more than one thing at a time!!!!! I will be able to check my turkey from the comfort of my blankets in my bed. The wifi has to be one of the coolest things about this range.
When I am working I use my phone to check the temperature of my meat which saves me so much time and frustration. Before this range I never got the temp correct. I am dyslexic and it can be a problem. The range lets me know when it’s correct. It’s a lifesaver.
I don’t know about you, but having to wait for things to cook during the holidays is what frustrates me the most. I like that I can cook multiple things at once in this range. To use the thermometer you have to take the divider out, but once the turkey is done I can cook multiple things like sweet potatoes and rolls while the turkey rests. The temperature of the range doesn’t have to be the same when you have the divider in place. One thing I have found that is fantastic about the dual door feature is you lose so much less heat in the oven when you are switching out ingredients. I can cook a chicken and rolls at the same time without disturbing the cooking time of the chicken. I even did an experiment and watch the temperature on my phone. It never wavered. I am getting excited just thinking about cooking for the holidays now! Food is my favorite part about the holiday season.
My favorite features so far (I am sure there are others I still haven’t discovered yet):
- The Samsung Flex Duo™ Wifi Range cooks just like a dual convection oven that but with less impact on the layout of your kitchen. It just slides right in, no cutout needed.
- Being able to check the temperature of my ingredients from my phone using the wifi connectivity.
- The dual doors. They are fantastic. You can use just the top door and section of the range which saves money on utilities.
- It’s pretty. It improves the look of my kitchen and is ridiculously easy to clean.
- The Samsung Flex Duo™ Wifi Range has yet to cook anything unevenly. Cookies, biscuits, rolls…..they are perfect. Since I am an avid baker this is unbelievably important to me. I no longer have to sit in front of my stove constantly rotating my cookies to make sure they do not burn.
- I can keep food warm for my husband when he works late and it doesn’t dry out or burn. That is another fantastic feature of the dual doors. I imagine it’s going to be equally fantastic during the holidays. I can keep dishes warm so guest can have seconds without the “overly warm” texture that some dishes can take on and rolls will still be warm to melt butter.
