Dove Mom Ambassador- I am a Dove Mom! #Dovetruth
I was so excited when I was chosen to be a Dove Mom Ambassador. My family has used Dove for over 25 years. I used it when I was a teenager and then when my son was born. He, along with all three of my kids, was born with extremely sensitive skin. Even typical baby wash was too drying. I found a small sample of Dove wash at Walmart and used it on him. To my delight he didn’t react to it and it helped moisturize his skin. We were sold and have used it ever since. We have tried other things but have always come back to Dove.
I became even more enamored with Dove when they became the leading brand in empowering women with their Campaign for Real Beauty. I have two girls and that is extremely important to me. I have always raised them to be secure in their bodies and it helps to outside positive reinforcement. 🙂

Dove’s new formula is one of the mildest on the market. What I like about all Dove body washes is that they still provide a rich lather that you don’t typically see in mild body washes and the new formula still lathers up quite nice. The Glycinate ingredient, typically found in high-end body washes, not only reduces damage to proteins during cleansing, but also creates a soap-comparable lather that rinses cleanly. Your skin feels clean after using it, not sticky. It’s been great using it this winter because the weather has been really unpredictable and the body wash has helped keep the balance in our skin.
The Sensitive Skin one is hypo-allergenic which is a plus for my family.
Honestly I usually am hesitant about trying things when a brand “revamp” things but Dove actual took a great product and improved upon it. How? I am not sure but whatever they did worked. It’s fantastic.
