My Crafty Life is in the business of giving… #IcedCoffee style.
Confession. I am a horrible gift recipient. Horrible. I hate strongly do not like being the center of attention. At all. I am getting better and I have to say, although attending blog events and being thrown into events where I do not know any one has been slowly bringing me out of me shell, I’m still Ms. Low Key. That being said, I am a WONDERFUL gift giver! I love giving presents. Any opportunity to give, I give. Even if it’s to just to throw a few cute, funky erasers in our treasure box for the kids at work. I’m a giver, what can I say? LOL
When I was chosen to be a tester for the International Delight Iced Coffee I was informed that I could also give the coffee to another person to try. What??? I was psyched. What an awesome opportunity. I was even more excited after I tasted the coffee….it was delicious! Yay.
To follow up my last post, I have been stalking my Walmart in order to replenish my iced coffee supply. They will be out in your Walmart and Sam’s Club dairy section as of January 15th! (Not in mine yet but I will keep checking!)
So who did I pick? Well my bloggy friend Eliza Ferree of course!
Eliza and I run in the same blog circles and are both members of SoFab (otherwise known as Collective Bias). So over the past year she and I have hit off. We finally got to meet this November at #ChiTag which is the Chicago Toy and Game Fair. We recognized each other pretty quickly (which I have to tell you is harder than it looks considering most of us know each other from a 48×48 sized picture!) and hit it off immediately.
As did our two youngest. They introduced themselves to each other, held hands immediately and were good to go…it was adorable.
Sooo, why did I pick Eliza? Easy. She deserves it. Eliza has been going through interesting housing situations like me, which that alone can be incredibly stressful, throw 4 kids, going to school and a traveling husband in the mix and it can be downright chaotic! She takes it in stride though and keeps it going as much as she can. I thought she could use something all her own that would give her an excuse to sit and chill. She got a cup and three flavors in a nifty refrigerator box just like me:
I was teasing her for weeks that she was getting a “Secret Santa” gift from me until I finally broke down and told her because I am a horrible “gift” secret keeper. {Plus she was having a bad day and I wanted to cheer her up!} So thank you International Delight and Collective Bias for helping me to not only enable my gift giving obsession- but to also but a smile on my friends face for a little while! Every mom needs that. 🙂
