First off I want to say Klutz Books have been a favorite in our house for a while now. My 10 yr old has quite a few of their books. She discovered them at Target about 2 years ago. They have given her quite a few hours of enjoyment! I love how they generate the creative side of kids, actually teach them things with out them knowing! That’s always a bonus. 🙂 So I was very happy when I was given the chance to offer a giveaway on my blog for three Klutz Glossy Bands books. They sent me a book for my daughter to try out. The instructions are very clear. The products are very easy to use and the mess was very minimal. My daughter and I both agree that kindergarten and up would probably be the recommended age unless there is an adult right there helping.
You receive with the book four paint gels, four toothpicks to swirl the paint and four plastic strips to work on.
The book recommends that you wait 24 hours for the paint to dry and then whala! You have very pretty bracelets!
My daughter had a blast making these and went on to make two ten more. My 3 year old has been playing with them all morning and they have yet to break. She’s rough on stuff so it is a testimate to their durability!
