My Crafty Life: Welcome To It…off color and all.
I have a chaotic, off colored life. Why off colored? I am unusual. LOL I am not a typical mom with typical routines or typical children. We don’t eat at the same time. Ever. My husband is never at home at the same time any given day. I never go to bed at the same time. I am always tired, always forgetting things and I don’t have my own house to relax. It’s a lot to juggle, I drop the ball frequently, but some how always manage to get most things done. I am the queen of procrastination and improvisation. I love when things aren’t normal. I love when we have vacations from work and school and can just sit around in our pajamas with no one to tell us what to do. I never feel the need to schedule my kids or find things or people to entertain them. I love sitting in my chair and having them exist around me as I work. I miss them when they are at school. Things will settle a little bit once we find a house and can make roots. For now? Chaos it is.
My day at a glance:
*7:10 am alarm goes off and I take my first round of meds.
*7:15-7:25 am check email and FaceBook
* 7:25 am check and make sure my pajamas are presentable enough for the bus stop.
*7:30 am Get Lu up (hubby deals with the older kids) get her ready, get meds into her
*8:10 am Lu on the bus, coffee is being made.
*8:10-9:45 am eat breakfast. Drink copious amounts of coffee. Take second dose of meds. Watch Supernatural and check email and FaceBook again. Post anything I totally flaked out about the night before.
*9:50 am shower and get ready after searching for 5 minutes for clothes.
*10:30 am fly to work
*1:45 pm return home from work and sit in the car for a second chatting with my husband on the phone. Usually I am asking him to remind me why I am still at my job.
*2 pm – 2:30 pm check email and FaceBook again
*2:30- 3:30 pm Kids return home. Fighting and chaos ensues. (Throw in stage crew afternoons in which I am trying to figure out how I am going to pick up Gill while Lu is at dance) Take third dose of meds.
*4 pm – 9 pm varies per day. Dance, stage crew, home work, dinner, shopping
*9 pm – 1 am work on blogs, answer emails, have brainstorming sessions with friends and partners, read review books, schedule multiple things. Take final dose of meds.
*1:30 am finally hit the sheets.
Thank gosh I have the weekends right?
