One thing about living in the Midwest that can get SUPER annoying is that your winter footwear isn’t always fashionable. Most times you have to choose function over fashion. I tend to always choose comfort or function. I have been a mom for over 19 years and I do tend to fall into a slump when it comes to my footwear and clothes. The main reason for that is I am very particular about what I wear. Most of the clothes or shoes I want to wear will not stand up to a Illinois winter. When Rhea footwear approached me about reviewing their product line I checked out their website and immediately fell in love with their Daphne Black Bootie.
I have fibro and psoriatic arthritis which makes choosing a cute shoe a challenge. My favorite thing about the Daphne Boot is that it’s a cute bootie that you can dress up or down, yet it’s uber comfortable. I can wear it with a thin or thick sock without any pinching. Like I said, I am pretty picky about my shoes because the neuropathy in my feet can be horrid and they have to fit me just right. They look fantastic with leggings and super cute with jeans. I can totally pull off my favorite rocker look or prep them up with a nice dress pant. The Daphne Boots are super versatile and I am pretty happy with how easily they blend in with my wardrobe and style. My husband likes them because he said that they look a lot like my favorite boots, that were also his favorite, I used to have but had to give them up after I had babies. They didn’t fit anymore.

Incorporated with Rhea Footwear’s NeverSlip™ outsole technology, these booties from Rhea Footwear will keep your casual look and safety right on point. The boots are a water-resistant upper with soft full-grain leather. The Daphne Boots also have a molded EVA insole, ventilated leather lining, a 1 3/4″ heel height, side zip closure and it fits true-to-size. No break in time needed, honestly. I didn’t have to wear them around the house at all.
