If you are looking for a great movie to see with your tweener Prom would be a great choice! I know that the whole “high school” thing has been done, but Prom focuses on a few of the couples in Brookside High getting ready to move from high school to independence and what that means to each one of them. It has the feel of a John Hughes movie minus the snark. I know my 11 year old has been talking about the movie. She and her friends are anxious to see it.
