Changed (Rascal Flatts)
I have a WIDELY eclectic taste in music. There are groups in pretty much every genre but rap that I like. Rascal Flatts is a fantastic country group and one of the only ones that I like. Even my son (who although has a very eclectic taste in music as well but has a propensity for rock and rap) likes this group. The biggest reason? Their songs tell a story. It’s not your typical “my dog got run over and my girlfriend left” kind of story either. Their new album Changed is their 8th album is a fantastic example and while it is slightly different from their usual style of music it still holds true to what you would expect from the band.
Honestly I had lost track of the band since their album “Me and My Gang“. My favorite song from the album is My Wish. It could’ve been written just for me and I listen to it all the time in the car. Their new song “Banjo” has a great beat and was in my head for days after I listened to it. Must be the reason it has already been on the Top 10 Country Radio hit! Check out the Bango (Video). Over all it was a hit in the Crafty house.
Fun Facts: Rascal Flatts, since their musical debut, the band has sold over 21 million albums, 25 million digital downloads and delivered 13 #1 singles to the top of the charts. They are the most awarded country group in the past decade, they have received over 40 trophies. They have sold over 6 million concert tickets.
Currently Rascal Flatts is performing around the country on their Thawed Out tour and on June 15th they will kick off a new summer tour presented by Farmers Insurance called “The American Band Tour” with Little Big Town, Eli Young band and Edens Edge.
