I can’t even remember the last time I with out wipes. Any kind of wipes. Hand wipes, face wipes and most importantly Bathroom Wipes. When my son, who is now 14, was potty training I came upon Cottonelle wipes in the store. My son, who was obsessed with the Cottonelle dog, saw the dog on the package and it was all over. We HAD to get it. I was ok because I really was looking for easy ways to assist potty training outside of the house. Little did I know that not only would we use them outside of the house, but everywhere else for the next 10 years.
True story. My daughter and I go to Girl Scout Camp every year. I am always the mom all the kids run to for things. Band Aids. Bug Spray etc… and two summer ago the kids learned that I was the go to mom for bathroom wipes. Our “bathrooms” (if you can call them that) at camp are interesting. A group of earwigs have taken up residence in these bathrooms. The girls are afraid to deal with them, not to mention that the toilet paper is not friendly. I remembered this from last year and I carried and package of Cottonelle wipes in my back pack. I saved the day! The girls could wipe the seat (and their bottoms) with out worry.
Just recently we were at my son’s track meet and the Port-A-Potty ran out of toilet paper. Every one was out of luck besides my family because -you guessed it- I had wipes.
When I first starting using wipes when my children were very little people were always telling me what a waste of money they were. I really disagree. Toilet paper can swell while wipes disintegrate in the toilet. Less plumbing bills. Toilet paper can be linty while wipes leave nothing behind. In our house we have found a balance of toilet paper and wipes. Even my 5 year could tell you our rule. “If you do #1 toilet paper is best, #2 needs a wipe.” LOL Exactly how she says it too. I have found that Cottonelle Ultra Comfort Care and Cottonelle Fresh Care wipes are the best. I have tried ALL THE BRANDS and I always come back to them. I love that they have coupons available a lot and every store I shop at carries them. I have less trips to the doctors with UTI’s and bladder infections since I started using our new toilet paper/wipes combo. I really think it helps you stay healthy and cleaner during the day. Cottonelle wipes have definitely saved the day quite a few times for my family and I love the money the large Cottonelle rolls of toilet paper has also saved ME!
