Goldfish are a staple in our house. They were one of the first snacks I gave my kids when they could chew and swallow. It’s the one snack they still fight over. It’s hilarious seeing a 18 year old, a 16 year old and a 9 year fight over who ate the entire box. We have bought rainbow, baby, pizza, parmesan (my favorite), strawberry-shortcake and ranch flavored Goldfish over the years. Even our cat likes Goldfish.
We have made our own Goldfish snack mixes, some where successful and others I would like to forget! The kids were pretty excited to see that they started making their own snack mixes.
Xtra-cheddar is the kids favorite flavor. They are also obsessed with pretzels so the new Xtra-cheddar + Pretzel mix is right up their alley. I LOVE LOVE the Chocolate Mint + Pretzel mix. I am a sucker for anything mint. My husband loves anything honey mustard so they pretty much have covered the bases of our family.
In the Goldfish kit we got an awesome Goldfish themed mini rainbow loom. Since the snack mixes are a perfect after school snack and the loom is a great way for the kids to decompress after a long day, they go together very well. The Goldfish charms are adorable.
