I think I have found my new appliances for my kitchen.
We bought a house 2 years ago that was a foreclosure and “rehabbed”. I use the word rehab in jest because the people that supposedly rehabbed it I think went to the clown school for rehab. We have been slowly redoing stuff and the kitchen is next on our list. I want a grownup kitchen. One that I can cook in and not feel annoyed. I love stainless steel and would have my entire kitchen fitted with it but I am always wary with 2 cats, 2 teenagers and a 9 year old. I take a lot of food pictures and stainless steel makes for a lot of editing in the photos because of the reflection. The photo above is my dream kitchen. It’s gorgeous, the appliances are beautiful and the layout is perfect.
I was looking on the Best Buy Remodeling page at the KitchenAid appliance collection and I have a new wish list. The black stainless steel appliances are the solution to all my problems! They are darker and less reflective than conventional stainless, these appliances naturally resist fingerprints and modern. There are tons of affordable choices in the collection. You can basically remodel your kitchen to look “food show” ready. Not to mention, like I said before, totally functional. The perfect balance – elegant and functional.
Here are a few specs that made me fall in love with KitchenAid collection that are new to the line:
Cooking –
- All new Slide-in Ranges fit the traditional freestanding cut-out for a seamless look that provides exceptional cooking and baking. We have freestanding in our kitchen so this is excellent. It’s hard to find on that doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb.

- Even-Heat™ Technology means flawless results in our wall ovens and ranges. Great for my cookies that keep getting burned in my uneven oven…..
- Exclusive Steam Rack and Steam Bake cooking options are designed for amazing performance. I didn’t even know this was possible……I am impressed.
- Baking Drawer for cooking flexibility to keep dishes warm, slow cook or simply bake at a different temperature than the main oven cavity. This is perfect for my hubby that never comes home at the same time every night and gets a cold dinner sometimes.

- Luxury fit, feel and finish with soft close pantry drawers, new crispers, platinum interior with undershelf lighting. Soft close drawers??? That is my dream. I have kids that are rough closers and I am always cringing, waiting for the fridge door to fall off.
With 18 months major appliance financing or 5% rewards and free delivery on purchases $399+, it’s definitely something to consider if you are moving or remodeling. I had no clue you could get all this stuff at Best Buy. I know I am going to look more into it as we consider new appliances in our remodel.
