I love having people over and impromptu visits are awesome! My main issue is I am not the best shopper. I tend to go and just get what I need and don’t prep. Coravin is easier to use than a corkscrew – simply insert the Coravin needle through the cork, tip the bottle and press the trigger to pressurize with argon and inert gas used by winemakers. This is HUGE for me because I have arthritis in my hands and getting the corkscrew out can be really difficult, sometimes impossible!
When you remove the needle, the cork will reseal to preserve the wine remaining in the bottle for weeks, months, or even years! It’s really neat. Bonus – no more cork floating in your glass anymore either!
