XFINITY is launching a pretty awesome new program and I am happy to announce that I have been chosen to participate in their brand new blogger program. I got to go into the city and preview some of the new awesome features. I was impressed. They have taken some of my favorite features from other platforms and found a way to integrate them into this brand new system. It’s futuristic, intuitive, interactive and not just a tv, but integrates into all platforms. I went into the meeting expecting a few changes here and there but this blew me away. It’s more than just cable now, it’s an entertainment operating system. Did I mention it’s FAST? My cable right now seems downright sluggish compared to the new X1.
I am a mom of 3. As a mom I value my downtime. I try as hard as I can not to be a part of the “convenience generation” but there are just some times convenience is a must. After seeing all the ways X1 can make my downtime easier and spend more time with my family I honestly can’t wait to get the equipment in my house. All of our entertainment needs will be at our fingertips. No more wasting time deciding on what to watch or looking on the internet for new releases, it will all be at our disposal. Two of my kids are teenagers so I take any time I can with them! Time is precious. Also, being able to take my dvr or On Demand in the car with me on my tablet is HUGE!!!! I no longer have to sit at dance waiting for my daughter twiddling my thumbs. I can catch up on my shows in the quiet of my own car.
